When ever I see the tiny little toes and perfect toenails on a baby my heat melts. They are so beautiful!  So imagine my utter horror when I spotted these abhorrent things!

Ms Parker or Miss Piggy?

What do we think ladies, are they Sarah Jessica Parker or Miss Piggy?  To be frank, not even the famous pink porker would be seen dead in these absurdities – surely!
The vile things are the creation of Heelarious , an American company who specialise in pedalling these monstrosities to idiotic mothers so that the world can laugh at their babies.  Some people might think that they are adorable funny and apparently cute.  Every girl’s first pair of shoes should be stilettos.  Well I beg to differ.
Don’t get me wrong here.  I’m a fan of the alternative, and I love quirky, but I draw the line at a product that sexualizes babies! They’re not funny. They’re not cute. And they’re anything but adorable.  Leopard print or zebra print squishy high heels shouldn’t be on any new baby list. I don’t care that the heel is squishy and won’t take weight if the tot walks on it.  They are another  sign that society seems hell bent on glamourising and sexualising our children, in this instance before they can even talk!
Yet they seem to be selling like hot cakes among the fashionista mums of the celebrity world, and as a result, the foolish fashion victims who follow their every move like hypnotised sheep.  What’s next? Thong nappies?  Halter-neck romper suits? Backless baby-gros perhaps? Acrylic nail extensions for babies who are teething?  At what point do we draw the line and allow our babies to be babies?  Let’s leave the ridiculous shoes for the ridiculous women who want to wear them.
