It was sad news for the Camerons this week after the death of their son Ivan. Ivan suffered from epilepsy and cerebral palsy. David Camerons oldest child Ivan had suffered with the condition for all his short life and although he had been in hospital recently his death was sudden. Understandably the pair are distraught at the news and have received well wishes from across the globe.

Mr Cameron has asked for no flowers to be sent to the couple and instead asked if anyone wishes to send a donation they should contact the Friends of St Mary’s Hospital or Mencap.

Previously Mr Cameron was quoted to say:

“We adore him in ways that you will never love anybody else, because you feel so protective.”
