The Witchlings have been on Holiday with Grandmera and Grapper.  A wonderful opportunity for us to save some serious cash on childcare over the summer holidays.  This is the diary tht Witchling 12 kept over her week away.

Dear diary
Sunday day time
We started our holiday today we went to look at the beaches. And we went and looked in the pirate caves and we got some under water shoes. For lunch we went to the hunters in and they had a peacock and a peahen. And after that Witchling 10 and I went to another beach with grandmera and grapper. And I built loads of sandcastles and also I got buried in the sand by grapper. And we had a look in the rock pools.

Evening
And in the evening we went out to dinner to the green house the food was all Wright although my steak  pie as a bit to chewy and we got back late to.

Monday daytime
Today we went to look at the wiled ponies their where lots of then and we got out and took pictures of them. And we sore horned sheep. The horse where a lovely brownie couler. After that we went and looked in the rock pools it was called seaside Safire we caught lots of snails and crabs. And then we went to a café and had tea and scones for a snack.
Evening
And for dinner we went to the blue ball in and I had half a chicken on a giant plate. You should have seen my face when it arrived I was so worried that I started to cry.

Tuesday daytime

We went to Ilfracombe to the tunnels and the beaches and we went to the play hut. The play hut was very fun and we met new people, I met one of the girls again on the beach.
We bought nets and went and looked in the rock pools we went in the Victorian ladies’ bathing pool as well.

Evening

We went to a restaurant near the beach for dinner because it sold bread pudding and that is Grapper’s favourite.

Wednesday daytime

Today we went and booked a pony ride  and we went to the pony centre. There were some craft activities to do and we stroked the ponies.
Then we went to Dunster and Witchling 10 and I had  a giant slice of chocolate cake and we both couldn’t finish it. We wandered off down the street and got a nice candle for Mummy with her name on it from both of us.
And we went in a second hand book shop and I got Hans Anderson Fairy Tales for 50p instead of £3.99. Then I read the whole of the little mermaid.

Evening

Tonight we went to the Indian restaurant in Lynton and I had a very spicy chicken. We sat and waited a long time for dessert and the dessert was very big but they very carefully put it in a small container.

Thursday daytime

We went hoarse riding it was grate fun I was very existed in the morning. I had a hors called Ben. He was very well behaved and guess what I trotted. He was a lovely brown colour. But he loved to eat as well and it was hard pulling up his head. The ride was an hour long. And at the end I felt really good because I have done my hors riding and guess what Witchling 10 and I got a hors shoe as a souvenir. And Natasha was very brave and Witchling 10’s hors was called Sovereign.

Evening
This evening we went to the fox and goos for dinner. And Witchling 10 and I had a leek and cheese pie. And I had sticky  toffee  pudding and it was to sticky. And it was very late when we got home.

Friday day time     THE LAST DAY!!!!!!
Today we went to a nice sandy beach we parked a long way away so we had to walk to the beach. We walked on and on I thought the walk would never ever end. But when we got their it was worth the walk their was lovely fine smooth sand which got every where. The Walk was through the biggest sand dunes in the world plus we had a lot of things to carry. I aced all over. When we got their I played in the sand and made sand casels and holes and pitchers. Witchling 10 played in the sea a lot   and made a jocose and Grandmera helped her decorate it.

Evening
We went back to the blue ball in and I dident have half a chicken instead I had sausages chips and salad which was delishs and for dessert I had apple pie and custard.
