As a parent in the middle of a credit crunch I don’t like paying for anything! The price of school shoes is going through the roof and somehow Witchling 10 keeps putting her feet through her shoes! And it’s winter. Outside it is cold and dark and miserable. I have the little people underfoot all evening and that can be a little bit stressful to say the least! I need a release.
I do, however, have a sanctuary that I can escape to that costs nothing and I don’t have to brave the ice and snow to get there.  My secret after bedtime vice is free bingo.  I play online and meet lots of other mums (and a few dads too) who are all in the same boat. We need to take some time out from being a parent now and then to have a few moments peace to ourselves.  Playing online bingo is a fantastic distraction from the mountain of ironing and the cleaning of the fish tank that seem to be a never ending saga in my life.
Playing Bingo online is a growing craze and, since I never gamble with the housekeeping money, is a great way to wind down and relax once the kids are tucked up in bed for the evening.  I don’t even need to pay a babysitter!
