It will soon be time for back to school. Once September comes around and the nights get darker it will be time for every school to go into fund raising over drive. Harvest festival, Autumn fayres, Christmas fayres, you name it!

My children will both be at secondary school for the first time this September so there will be no more nativity scenes with Mary whipping a baby tiny tears from up her frock while the Angel Gabriel picks his nose in the background. This year will see much more grown up activities.

For many schools, fundraising is a full time occupation, allyear round and considerable time is spent on thinking up new ways to get we parents to crack open our purses and wallets. A small investment in a selection of promotional products can lead to a big turnaround for a school. Small items such as pin badges, keyrings or even sticks of rock and chocolates are great sellers at table sales and Christmas Fayres.

Equally, promotional products such as baseball caps or T-Shirts can be sold to parents for school residential trips or for leavers. Each item is great advertising for the school, raises funds and let’s face it, I’d rather buy Witchling 11 a baseball cap than win a bottle of out of date peach schnapps in another tombola!
